Jacey earned her M.B.A. from Seton Hall University and her B.A. from the University of Miami. She began her career in the legal and financial industry, including working on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Six months after 9/11, her son was born and she welcomed her daughter a year later. At two years old, her son was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and rare seizure disorder called Landau Kleffner Syndrome, which causes a regression and mimics strokes. Not long after her daughter was diagnosed with asthma and an autoimmune disease.
In 2005, after many pharmaceutical drugs did not work for either of them, Jacey put both her children on a gluten and dairy free diet at ages 2 and 3 years old … and the healing for both began. Though her daughter greatly improved, her son’s seizures were never fully remedied. Jacey left her job on Wall Street and focused her time and effort on her children’s health, community support, and advocacy for families living with autism. She also began working for many national alternative health conferences as a sponsorship sales manager plus volunteering for non-profit organizations which supported families living with autism, epilepsy, and other childhood health epidemics.
In 2013, she was able to find a doctor to finally help her get her son on CBD and for the first time in his life, he became seizure free. Her son was able to be weaned completely from his large doses of pharmaceutical seizure drugs and now only takes CBD. Since then, he has been thriving. He gets all A’s in school, has friends, and just recently received his driver’s permit.
In 2014 Jacey, herself, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis after years of misdiagnoses. She immediately began her own journey of health and recovery through diet, lifestyle, and CBD. After a year, she returned to a more optimal level of health that continues to allow her to be fully mobile, feeling great … and pharmaceutical medication free!
