Fred Swann is an activist, agricultural entrepreneur and cannabis policy expert who is running to be Georgia’s next Agriculture Commissioner. Fred has been active in Georgia politics for over a decade, building coalitions between diverse interests and party affiliations to improve the lives of all Georgians. Currently, he has been working alongside legislators to reform Georgia’s hemp laws to make them better for farmers, consumers and business owners. Fred also serves as Vice Chair for Greening Georgia, the environmental caucus for the Democratic Party of Georgia. Fred is a graduate of Mercer University, and holds an MBA from Wesleyan College.
